Yes, I do. But until I can afford to hire someone, I use a system that is self-serve. Each patient who comes in will have a special envelope in the front office put aside just for them. They will also place their payment for the day into that envelope. If I think they need an herbal formula, I’ll have it waiting in the envelope for them, with the cost, so that they can pay for the herbs at the same time.
In the front area, usually on the desk, will be a schedule that patients can use to schedule their next visit. This means that they should come prepared with their calendars, to know when they can come in next. It’s perfectly all right to schedule a bunch of treatments in advance, if they want to reserve certain times during the week.
