Next to 1299 Fourth Street, on C Street, is a large parking structure. You
take a ticket when you drive in, and you place your ticket into a payment
machine before driving out, when you are told how much to pay. The rate
is approximately $.65 an hour. The first 30 minutes are free, but after the
30th minute, you are charged for the full hour. No credit cards are accepted.
On all the streets surrounding 1299 Fourth Street are parking meters. On C
Street and Fifth Street, east side is an open parking lot which takes credit
card payment.
Unmetered (free) parking is available 3 or more blocks away from the clinic.
These are rather small blocks, so not much walking is involved.
There are 4 spaces that used to be metered but are now free. South of 2nd street, on C Street,
are many more free spaces on the street. You may have to drive around the block
more than once to get a spot, if it’s a busy time.
